Fundraisers
Coordinating and managing fundraising activities to ensure ongoing support to the community.
Come along to the 32nd Annual Friends of Palliative Care Walk & Fun Run.
Sunday 8th March 2026 at Maitland Regional Athletics Centre
All money raised on the day helps individuals and families in Palliative Care & End of Life Care in the Hunter Valley, from supporting individuals through chemist account payments and hiring out hospital beds and equipment, all costs involved with this are completely covered by FOPC.
The gates will open at 7:00am, with the first event of the day being the 10km fun run at 7:30am, followed by the 5km fun run beginning at 8:15am and then the 5km family friendly walk to remember to those we have lost and to show our support to those currently in palliative or end of life care at 9:00am.

Financial support for pharmacy accounts
FOPC Inc. support palliative patients through assistance with pharmacy accounts. We take referrals from palliative care specialists, so please reach out to your team if you are interested in this support. Referrers – please download and complete the Pharmacy Account Request and submit to us by email.
